In winter, I always look for fresh tangerines at our local Haggen grocery store.  Sometimes it is hard to find tangerines with good looking leaves. This time I finally got some perfectly looking tangerines, and hurried home to arrange set-ups and take photos. My goal is always to take as many photographs as I can before the leaves wither. The plate on the photo is from the China set that my husband inherited from his grandmother. He is very protective of this China set, and we only use it once a year on Christmas. I think it is so sad that we do not use it more often. So I included different items from this China set in a lot of my paintings! I am sure grandma would be very happy that her China set is not only used on holidays…. it lives in many of my paintings. Hopefully, the paintings will travel to other people’s homes… and that’s how we memories live long…
